Respondendo ao desafio do Damon, optei por não mostrar a água, mas sim o esforço do homem para a conter, dirigir e usufruir.

II - A entrada para o coração da terra, onde flui o elixir para a sobrevivência.

Answering to Damon's challenge, I took the option of not showing the water, but the effort of man to contain it, direct it and enjoy it.

II - The entry to the heart of the earth. Where the elixir for survival flows.

Sintra is full of this water mines...ancient tunnels that run all across the mountain with "doors" like this one permiting the access...inside? Scary... :-)

Interesting take on the theme. I think a tighter crop on the well would give it more impact for the theme. But I love it as a whole too.

@White Tea: Fui lá parar por acaso...fica entre a Várzea e a Ribeira de Sintra (perto do terminal dos eléctricos)...fiz um desvio e...oops! Ali estava!
Mas há muitas entradas como estas para o interior da serra...
