Sintra | Colares

Agora que chuva se decidiu a voltar, memórias de um dia de Verão em Colares, no lado ocidental dos montes de Sintra, a meio caminho entre a montanha e o mar.

Now that the rain has decided to return, memories of a Summer day in Colares, on the western side of the Sintra hills, halfway between the mountain and the sea.

Olá Rui. Também já aqui estive a caminho da Praia Grande. É um belo local e tu escolheste um bonito sítio. Gosto do céu, das casas, da igreja, do relógio e dos candeeiros. É uma composição harmoniosa.

un encuadre muy bonito, y la nube que aparece encima de las casas le da un toque muy interesante al cielo. Me encanta esas casas blancas y como contrasta el rojizo ladrillo con el cielo azul.

@Nick Passantino: Thanks Nick, those are really aged buldings but all of them with a function...besides the obvious church, there is an antique store, a coffee shop among others, it's a place that is alive... :-)

Its a lovely summertime image Rui. Whilst you have had rain return, we have had 26C, and now 3 weeks of sunshine, unheard of in April in the UK, the weather is strange this year in Europe???
