Sintra | Jograis azuis

Raras são as fotografias que tiro a pessoas e nesta loooonga série de imagens de Sintra tenho principalmente tentado mostrar uma perspectiva da região diferente da tradicionalmente apresentada para fins turísticos.
Mas apreciei realmente a actuação deste par durante o festival medieval que ocorre todos os anos.
Espero que regressem...

Rare are the photos I take from people and in this looong series of Sintra's images I've been mostly trying to show a perspective of the region different from the traditionally presented for touristic objectives.
But I really enjoyed this pair's act during a medieval festival that occurs every year.
I hope they return...

bom, também podem ser vistos como destino turistico, a actuação, é como ir a espanha ver os rolling stones, a sobreexposição deu-lhe um toque especial.

De ano para ano atrai mais pessoas, como residente e apaixonado por Sintra, espero que continuem desta forma, a atrair turismo de qualidade com "produtos" de qualidade...

Wonderful composition. It is as if they are beconing the viewer onto the canvas.
Tourist-y photos are very nice, but it is the every day life, and the off the beaten track images that

Never see it like that...I read it like if the woman was trying to release herself to run in the viewer's direction... :-)

Oops, don't know what happened there...
What I was trying to say is that it is the non-standard images that helps to transport us to the real heart of the region and endears us to the place.
Lovely shot, I am looking forward to your future additions to the series.

@Dornbrau: Yes I totally agree.
Sintra receives a lot of tourists who miss real jewels because they are induced by the Vila's clichés...
There are so many different approaches to this paradise, I try to take some of them.
Some of the pictures here were taken from where I live, a place not really visited by tourists but that provides different glimpses to this enchainted land...
I'll try keep on doing so... :-)

The whitess of the surroundings act as a beautiful foil for the jewel like colours. I especially love the blue faces. Great work

Great photo! Very creative! Love the contrast between the whitness of the photo and the deep blue faces. You are lucky to view such performances, thanks for sharing a brief moment of this couple's performance (makes me wonder what the rest of it was like)

una pose con mucha expresividad. No se si me acaba de gustar que la mayoría de la foto tenga tanta luz, pero, de alguna forma, consigues que así contrasten más los personajes.
